Tara Mór To Host First Fully Irish Festival in New York City

Mór Fest 2026, which is Manhattan’s first fully Irish festival, is set to take place from August 19 to 23, 2026. It is being hosted by Tara Mór, an Irish pub located a block from Madison Square Garden.

The festival sets out to be an authentic Irish festival complete with vendors, music, storytelling, and more. Each day has its own activities and events. Tickets are sold as a 5-day pass, and there are no single-day tickets. VIP tickets are also available and include early entry into the event and an open bar all week long. Participants should note that the festival is 21+ and ticket purchases are non-refundable.

Tara Mór is a multi-room venue that allows for multiple things to happen at the same time. It is an established and beloved Irish pub in New York City. There are millions of Irish-born residents in NYC, as well as those who claim Irish heritage. The celebration of Irish culture as been on the rise, and this festival seeks to join in on the celebration.

  • 7pm: Modern Irish panel
  • 8 pm:  Comedy Showcase
  • 10 pm: Live performance by Jinty McGrath

-Friday, August 21:

  • 8:30 pm: Sports Panel featuring Michael Murphy and Johnny Glynn
  • 10 pm: Performance by the Young Wolfetones
  • Late-night: DJ until 1 am

-Saturday, August 22

  • 8:30 am: Morning wellness session
  • 9 pm: Live Irish dating show
  • Late-night: Sets from Steph Hurley

-Sunday,  August 23:

  • 12 pm: Guinness Perfect Pour Competition
  • 4 pm: All-day trad sessions
  • 8 pm: live sit-down interview with football legend Niall Quinn
  • Closing ceremony
