Celtic Woman performed this song as part of the 2026 spring
tour, and crowds loved the song. The group had always wanted to perform a Parton
song, and at least one member got to meet her. They had no idea that when they
included the song in their tour, Parton would die a few months later. Recording
the song is their way to pay tribute to her.
“As women in the music industry, we looked up to Dolly
enormously,” said Máiréad Carlin on social media. “She was a true pioneer who
paved the way for so many of us, and she was a particular inspiration to all of
us in Celtic Woman.”
