Julian Erskine, former Executive Producer of Riverdance, died on September 18, 2026, surrounded by his family. He joined the Riverdance family in 1994 and was a critical part of the show’s journey around the world.
Erskine leaves
behind his children Gemma and Danny and their spouses, his partner
Caroline, and his sister Gail. He is also remembered by Ireland’s art community
and all who have been touched by his endeavors.
Riverdance’s social media posted an announcement of Erskine’s
passing. Former Riverdance members also took to social media to send their love
and condolences to Erskine’s family.
The family asks that only family members send flowers. Those
who wish to honor Erskine’s legacy are asked to make a donation to the Royal
National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) in Memory of Julian Erskine. A celebration
of Erskine’s life will be announced at a later date.
