How was it to be a Clancy?
Some may think it’s nothing fancy.
You played music around the Earth
Giving Irish music new birth.
Because of you, I know my past
My love of Irish music forever lasts
You connect me to Ireland
Its history I understand
Thank you for singing your song
Your hard work, your days so long.
Thanks to you, the world sings loud
Irish music oh so proud.
