The drums roll like thunder
Telling what's to come
Listeners gasp in wonder
As the bagpipes hum
A whistle sings its tune
Bringing joy to listening hearts
"The Rising Of the Moon"
The band plays their parts
A fiddle player stomps in time
Playing jigs and reels
A vocalist sings out his rhymes
Expressing how he feels
Celtic music from the ages
Of days that have now passed
Is still played on world stages
Forever it will last
