On June 6, 2025, Irish Christian band Rend Collective
released their album, “Folk.” The album consists of 14 songs on two discs.
The album starts out with “Abide in Me,” which has a bit of a Mumford and Sons feel to it. While some songs hold to this feel, many have different feels to them. However, each song has Rend Collective’s voice that fans have come to know over the years.
The songs on the album range from folk music like Mumford
and Sons to traditional Irish rhythms. This truly showcases the band’s talent,
as they are able to effortlessly play various styles and incorporate different
sounds into their music.
A lot of the songs are really upbeat and positive. This is
likely because it is meant to be a worship album. However, there are also songs

whimsical and folksy, remaining upbeat and fun. Disc two is more serious and
heavy, grappling with the difficulties that arise in life. As such, there is
