The 2026 Winter Olympics have now come to a conclusion. It was a great couple of weeks of the best athletes in the world coming together to compete in front of a global audience. Congratulations to all athletes for your accomplishments, whether you won a medal or not. Just having the opportunity to compete in the Olympics is something so special. That said, here is a rundown of the Celtic athletes who did win medals for their performances in their chosen sport.

Hardie Grant

Hardie Grant, who hails from Glasgow, Scotland, won the silver medal for curling alongside Great Britain’s team. This is Grant’s second Olympic medal after winning silver in the 2022 Olympic Games for the same sport.

Bobby Lammie

Bobby Lammie is a Scottish athlete from Dumfries, now residing in Stirling. He won the silver medal for curling, alongside Team Great Britain. This is his second Olympic medal since he received gold in the 2022 Olympics.

Bruce Mouat

Bruce Mouat is a Scottish curler from Stirling. He won a silver medal in the 2026 Olympic Games for his efforts alongside Great Britain’s Olympic curling team. This is his second medal since he also won a silver medal in the 2022 Winter Olympics.

Kyle Waddell

Kyle Waddell is from Hamilton, Scotland. He received a silver medal for his efforts in the 2026 Winter Olympics alongside Great Britain’s curling team. He was an alternate for the 2026 Olympics. Although he appeared in the 2018 Winter Olympics, his 2026 silver medal is his first Olympic medal.

Overall, Great Britain has placed 15th with the overall medal count. They earned three gold medals, one silver medal (curling team), and one bronze medal throughout the 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
