The Gothard Sisters have released the first single off their upcoming album on August 22, 2025. The single is the title track of their new album, “Moment in Time,” and it was written about never living the same moment twice as we continue to learn and grow. The song was the first song on the new album and was the first song written for the new album.
The band has also recently announced their upcoming album
title and its release date. The new album, to be titled “Moment in Time,” is
set to be released on October 17, 2025. Recording for the album was finished in
July.
While the album is not available until October, preorders
will begin on Thursday, August 21st, 2025. Anyone who preorders
either a physical or digital copy of the CD (including bundles that have the
album) will receive downloads of two new songs from the album, "Moment in
Time" and "Adventurer.”
To celebrate the new album, the band is hosting two album
release concerts at the Thumbnail Theater in Snohomish, Washington. The first
is on Saturday, October 18 at 7 pm. The show on Sunday, October 19, is a 4 pm
matinee.
The Gothard Sisters are sisters Greta (guitar, violin,
vocals, Irish dance), Willow (violin, mandolins, Irish dance, bodhran, vocals),
and Solana (vocals, violin, bodhran, djembe, percussion, whistles, Irish dance,
ukulele) from Washington, USA. They blend a variety of genres, including
Celtic, folk, world, classical, and new age with pop and Americana feels to
create their sound. Their focus is to create music that tells a story for their
listeners. Over the course of their career, they have performed more than 2,000
shows and recorded 10 albums
