There are several artists, either who play Celtic music or who are from the Celtic nations who are releasing new music in January 2025. Here's a rundown of what music is coming out.

January 10, 2025

Franz Ferdinand is a Scottish rock band. They formed in Glasgow in 2002 and have since released five studio records, with "The Human Fear" being their sixth. 

January 24, 2025:

-Mogwai, "The Bad Fire"

Mogwai are a post-rock band that formed in Glasgow, Scotland in 1995. They are known for their instrumental tracks. 

-Thin Lizzy, "Acoustic Sessions"

Thin Lizzy are an Irish rock band that formed back in 1969. They are known for their songs "The Boys Are Back in Town" and "Jailbreak," amongst others. 

January 31, 2025

-Brooke Combe, "Dancing At The Edge of the World"

Scotttish soul singer Brooke Combe is releasing her debut album on January 31, 2025. She has been singing seriously since she was in school.

-Manic Street Preachers, "Critical Thinking"

Manic Street Preachers are also known as the Manics. They are a Welsh rock band that formed in 1986 in  Blackwood, Caerphilly. They were a huge part of Wales' Cool Cymru cultural movement in the 1990s.  Their upcoming album, "Critical Thinking," is their 15th album.
